I am a third-year Media and Communications (Journalism) student at La Trobe University.
In my time studying at La Trobe, I have completed subjects in the journalism, marketing, social media and public relations fields, providing me with a well-rounded variety of skills.
I am currently Deputy Music Editor at Vinyl Revival. I write 'The Weekly', a weekly run-down of the best new songs. I have also began 'The Gatefold' podcast at Vinyl Revival, interviewing figures in the music scene.
I have just finished a two-month internship in the media department at Carlton Football Club, where I interviewed players, wrote feature articles and completed match reports.
I have recently completed a Communications and Marketing internship with property investment firm The Successful Investor. In the role, I wrote and edited copy for the company’s website and created content for their blog.
Earlier this year, I completed a three-month editorial internship at Speaker TV. I produced written pieces on music, politics and interview feature articles.
I manage my own blog, Contemporary Classic, which has fast-tracked my development in writing, editing and creating content.
Above all, I am an enthusiastic and ambitious individual who is always seeking an opportunity to display and develop my skills.
