I study as a postgraduate student at UQ for professional accounting. With a greater interest in finance, I will change to a dual major program for accounting and finance next semester.
Before starting master degree, I worked full time as the assistant for the Chief Accountant in a private company in China for two years, handling accounting and financial documents translation and conference interpreting. To better understand the materials and improve my professional level for the job, I studied on my own about accounting, took the test for the certificate of accounting profession in China, passed the test and earned the certificate, which allowed me to expand my job responsibility to translation and office work to accounting areas (eg. book keeping, dealing with reconciliations, vouchers and occasional tax filing, etc).
As a passionate high achiever with sheer eager to learn, I am also reliable and responsible. Being exposed to the working world, especially business contexts, I am well capable of maintaining a professional attitude and due sophistication at work.
