CUSTOMER SERVICE EXECUTIVE SBI GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY LTD | Bhopal (M.P.) India 04/2013 – 08/2016 SBI General Insurance is a joint venture between the State Bank of India and Insurance Australia Group (IAG). The company offers a wide range of general insurance products including home, motor vehicle, health, personal accident and travel. Role: • Multifaceted role involving management of a frontline customer service team to ensure exceptional levels of service were provided to customers/prospective customers aligned to the organisation’s quality standards and operational guidelines. Core Activities: • Reporting to the Operation Manager, I was responsible for supervising, mentoring and training of a frontline customer service team and coordinating activities with SBI branches across India for pool issuance. • First-point-of-contact (SME) for product and service information and resolving any customer issues and complex enquiries. • Hands-on operational activities including issuing, endorsing and cancelling insurance policies and generating detailed quotations. • Managed and maintained various databases including data validation and issuance of a monthly quality report to SBI Head Office. • Managed vendor payments and off-role staff members. Key Achievement: • Recipient of the ‘Most Trustworthy Employee’ (2014/2015) award from the CEO on PAN India level.
