As a professional who has travelled and worked with different people from different cultural background, I believe I can connect with people effectively, understand their sociocultural heritage and guide them accordingly. I have lived, worked and studied most part of my life in Different multicultural cities with friends from different cultural background, which why is I am trilingual (English, Urdu, Arabic).
Participating in different societies in university at bachelors level has developed my teamwork and leadership abilities firsthand, and later on in BTC networks by leading multiple teams in a project. During my bachelors I was voted to lead the society “TE-Links” due to my persona of integrity and boldness. The aim of the society was build connections between academia and Industry. Apart from arranging events and seminars; I brought on the table a quarterly closed-door session called “Dialogue”. In this session we discussed cultural issues and taboos.
One of the highlights of my activities in Te-links was arranging an entrepreneurship and leadership event with speakers from Pakistan and Australia. I was responsible to co-ordinate with faculty for arrangements, provide guidance to team of volunteers and assign tasks to my team.
Driven by my enthusiasm and zeal for knowledge and personal development, I look forward to share my experience from other side of the world.
