Hi! I'm Tony, a third year Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Melbourne, aspiring to work in the financial services industry.
Education Currently majoring in Finance and Economics, I have a deep interest in the financial markets. Reading up on various macro or firm-specific news, I find it intriguing how different kinds of news affect investor confidence. Studying under the Chancellor's Scholarship, I have obtained various awards, such as the Dean's Honours List. I also graduated as the Dux of Melbourne Grammar School with ATAR of 99.95.
Experience As a VCE tutor, I have mentored students studying English (EAL) in identifying techniques to approach the differences between mainstream and English as a Second Language. I also have experiences as a Sponsorship Officer with the Finance Students' Association at Unimelb, responsible for relaying with potential sponsors and organising future events.
Extracurricular I have a passion for basketball and I'm a close follower of the NBA. Big fan of the LA Clippers, I watch every single one of their games. I also play table tennis, and have played other sports such as footy and rowing. Languages is another thing I love. Having studied Japanese since high school, I am fascinated by the language and the culture. I have passed the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Level N1.
