I worked with the Research Metrics team at the University of Melbourne Chancellery. My role involved analyzing the university's research performance using existing in-house data and publication databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. I would then use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access to present the data through text, charts, and tables in clear and concise reports.

I am a recent Master of Engineering graduate who studied Biomedical Engineering with Business. To gain experience, I tutored at the university, interned as a digital marketer at GradAustralia, and gained experience in data analysis and reporting as a research and policy intern at the University of Melbourne. I have also volunteered at the Stroke Foundation, RoboGals, and at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. These experiences gave me skills in administration, teaching, and machine learning respectively.

In my final year, I worked on developing a medical device and created presentations and pitched at various competitions. I also learned about market analysis and creating business models. I enjoy learning new skills and have taken online courses in content marketing and Python.

It would be great to gain experience and new skills while working at a startup or small business.

I assisted the chef with cutting and prepping vegetables for the evening. I also helped with plating and getting the meals ready for the servers to take to customers. At the end of the night, I was also responsible for washing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen and back room. I also helped with service for some occasions. I balanced this with my university commitments.
