During my placement, I developed a product with the intention of long-term growth for a client. The project involved researching, critical and systematic design thinking, strategising, liaising with clients and the implementation of service design frameworks to develop an effective and sustainable solution to our given challenge.

Offered interior design advice, assembled and sold furniture as well as homewares to customers. I implemented and maintained the store's visual merchandising, assisted customers and handled the POS.

I assisted the art department on the student feature-length film 'The Big Dog'. I offered my graphic design skills to create a digital interface for a prop and I worked with the department leaders to help out with the set dressing.

I was primarily a front of house team member and I was responsible for running and maintaining customer-facing spaces in the restaurant and assisting customers. I also assisted with back of house organisation. My main duties involved taking orders, waiting tables, cleaning important equipment and training new staff.

I conducted product launches for Huskee at various cafes across the Sydney CBD and Eastern suburbs. This involved explaining and discussing the HuskeeSwap system, the environmental benefits of the product and any other queries with cafe patrons. I also sold many patrons their first HuskeeCup as a result of this.

As an event photographer I captured special events run by the organisation such as kid's fun days as well as medical talks and presentations.

As a Film Market Researcher, I was responsible for auditing cinema patron numbers and documenting demographic details for specific films. My work also involved conducting surveys with the customers on their opinions regarding the content of the film. Clients included Disney, Warner Bros and Universal Studios.
