I coordinated a fundraiser that raised over $1500 for the 'Buy a Bale' initiative to help drought affected farmers. I organised a series actvites and an  out of uniform "dress like a farmer day" that bought attention to the cause and encouraged a   a simple gold coin donation. I also partnered with my IST teacher to use my High School's digital reward system known as "Vivo Points", which are redeemable for real monetary value, to raise funds by encouraging my fellow students to donate any unused points to the cause.

Volunteer - Buy a Bale Fundraiser Organiser 

Founder of the BSVN. 
It was part of an initiative with the the NSW Department of Education. It was a forum that convened representatives   of all high schools in the Bungarribee region to discuss how we can work together on fundraising and other inter school initiatives in an effort to make our contributions to the community more impactful. 
The BSVN schools each held  fundraisers and pooled the funds together to make a donation Stewart house.  
My role involved meeting with the Regional Director of Education Leadership to workshop the idea for the BSVN as well as plan the activities the forum would undertake. I also had to facilitate the meeting and activities on the day and create a final report detailing the initiatives discussed and proposed by other schools and finally I had to provide an evaluation of the effectiveness of the forum.

After moving to Australia at 15 years old, I’ve been striving to make the most of all the  opportunities I can!  I was heavily involved with community fundraising and have been the recipient of the John Lincoln Youth Community Service award as a result. I was also a finalist for the Blacktown City council young citizen of the year award. I am passionate about community outreach and would love to be more active in the wider community in any possible way.

General office support such as filing, scanning, mail running and binding. Responsibilities included reception duties such as patient intake, face to face appointment booking, enquiry support and overseeing patient film collection. Along with this, responsibilities  involved in phone switchboard operation involved calling patients for versions reasons such as appointment availability, booking appointments and informing patients of the nature of the procedures as well as  the relevant preparation. Correspondence with doctors and hospitals regarding results and procedures via telephone and email were also a large part of the day.
