My name is Brigita Kristo and am currently studying Master of Applied Finance at Western Sydney University upon receiving a scholarship for my previous academic achievements. I have also received five awards from the University inviting me to the special Honours Programme as I ranked amongst the top 2% students, followed by the Excellence Certificates. Most of my life I have spent in Croatia where I wanted to become a doctor, however passion for Economics and Finance got the best of me and I decided to move to Australia and complete two degrees doing something I enjoyed. Upon completion of the Master degree I would like to pursue a career in finance and economics, with the emphasis on investment banking and economic/ financial modelling. I am currently working as an intern data analyst  in a start-up company in St Leonards, Sydney  where I have further developed on my skills in finance. 


Working for an Australian brand with demanding customers on daily basis has improved my communication skills and boosted my confidence. Moreover, processing payments, handling customer complaints and ensuring stock levels as part of a daily routine.
