Alan co-founded Altina in 2018 with a vision to normalise alcohol free drinks and inspire Australians to live life without the negative aspects of excessive alcohol consumption. Since then, he’s helped build Australia’s first botanically built non alcoholic wine brand, with products now stocked in retailers, liquor chains and hospitality venues around the country (and the world).
Prior to Altina, he worked at Treasury evaluating federal budget policies and then moved to public policy consulting, advising CFO leaders using quantitative methods. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics (Hons), is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alan was the Canberra Business Chamber Future Leader 2020, listed as one of 20 Future Chartered Accountants to watch, is a member of the ACT Government Canberra Economic Advisory Group 2021; and helped Altina become a State Finalist for the Telstra Best of Business Awards for both Embracing Innovation and Outstanding Growth categories.
