I am a published author and poet, editor, radio-host, blogger, communications consultant and strategist. The unifying themes in my work are to build awareness, develop connections, enhance meaning and create positive change with companies, communities and individuals. My background includes a Communications and Theatre degree, Strategic Planning Post Grad, and lots of varied continuing education. I have worked as a Brand Marketer and Innovation Manager in Corporate FMCG, Consumer Insights and Research, Futurist, Senior Strategic Planner at a global advertising agency, Writer, Editor, Creativity Coach and Communications Consultant. I sit on the Board of a Bendigo Community Bank, and as VP for the Community Radio Station, along with a range of pro bono and voluntary roles.
Creativity and connection are at the heart of my approach. I believe that divergent and imaginative thinking coupled with deep insights and strategic long term planning underpinned by values of compassion and empathy can not only drive business innovation, but can also contribute to a better world. I am driven by curiosity, an openness to joy, a need to better the world we live in, to connect and help the people within it, to create and to live meaningfully.
