I am a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at the UNSW, Australia, and a postgraduate research awardee (PGRA) at the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE). My PhD research has enabled effective prevention and treatment of epidemic thunderstorm-asthma in Australia fostering better healthcare. My multidisciplinary research background allows me to conduct R&D in several disciplines such as thunderstorm-asthma, drug delivery, and point-of-care diagnostics, and I am keen to work in the healthcare diagnostics industry promoting early-detection and treatment of chronic diseases.
I have also gained expertise in market research, technology analysis, competitive/comparartive analysis, and business development in key emerging sectors including food & agriculture, advanced materials, medical technology/healthcare, plastics & packaging, and bio-energy. In my role as a technology analyst, I worked with different stakeholders to strategically advise deep-tech startups, industries, educational institutions, and financial institutions to tailor R&D and financing practices towards sustainability enabling circular economy (CE) and Industry 4.0 (I4.0).
I have received very competitive multiple international government-funded scholarships, fellowships, research awards, prizes, and grants throughout my academic & research career, and I have lived and worked in many multicultural environments across Asia, Europe, and Australia.
