About Kim
When I was a little, people would ask me the question, “what do you want to be?”, had I known the answer was ‘delivering and leading improvement initiatives in complex and diverse organisations’ I probably would have ended up here a lot sooner. As it turns out, I’ve been making improvements continuously throughout my life.
During my Business degree I really took a liking to survey design and the research side of marketing, I was obsessed with finding out the ‘why’- because once you know how something works, you can make it work even better. This gave me a really good foundation in asking the right questions to get the answers you need.
Never being satisfied, and not being happy with ‘good enough’, I’m always looking for the best outcome. This mentality is what drove me to improve on the production process in The Trophy Store, increasing efficiency of the ‘first wave’ product line, resulting in a NSW Business Award for Sustainability for the business. Little did I know at the time this process had a name; it wasn’t until after a course in Six Sigma at UTS that I had a real lightbulb moment.
I love to find efficiency, figuring out the ‘why’ to solve the most interesting challenges. I specialise in change and improvement and have a real passion for guiding individuals and teams through the processes. I really enjoy being able to help people to see the benefits of the improvements that I drive, the excitement when they see how much this will help them, how much time it saves.
